FAQ

Share one Universal Link

The main flow is simple: tap share on a song, choose TrackGenius, and send one Universal Link. Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and TIDAL are waiting behind it if someone needs a different service.

Primary flow

One link out. Every music app behind it.

TrackGenius is built for the moment you are already sharing a song from your music app of choice. Tap the share button, choose TrackGenius, and listeners can jump into Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, TIDAL, or a SoundCloud search fallback from the shared page.

What is the one link?

The one link is a TrackGenius Universal Link, such as /t/songid. That is the link you send in Messages, AirDrop, group chats, or anywhere else.

Which music services are behind it?

TrackGenius gives each track one Universal Link. Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and TIDAL sit behind it as destinations, and when an exact service link is not available TrackGenius can use a search fallback, including SoundCloud search, so the listener still has a fast path to the track.

Can I still paste links in the app?

Yes. Pasting a music URL in the app still works as a fallback. The share button flow is the fastest way because it keeps the sharing moment in your music app of choice.

Are profiles public?

Yes. Published profiles are public by design. Anyone with a profile URL such as /u/handle can view the display name, handle, bio, playlists, and songs you publish.

Can I update a profile?

Yes. Make changes in the app, then tap Update Profile again. The public page keeps the same handle unless you change it in the app.

How do I request help or deletion?

You can delete your published profile from inside the TrackGenius app. If you cannot access the app or need help with a profile handle or TrackGenius link, use Contact Us.
